Inspection

During each site inspection, the inspector should :

  1. Initiate a call from each elevators

  2. Validate two-way audio

  3. Ask the first responder to confirm the video

  4. Validate the two-way messages with first responder (Yes and No buttons)

  5. Go to the Thunder Supervisor (touchscreen) and check the system status.

  6. Confirm that all devices are Geen.

A warning icon will appear in the bottom-right corner if the system detects maintenance requirements or a general error requiring action. If such an icon is present, follow the appropriate steps to resolve the issue.


Typical maintenance Alerts from the Thunder :

  1. Battery replacement

    • Every 4 years, the system will indicate that the battery needs to be replaced for maintenance

  2. Updates

    • The system continuously checks for critical updates for the Thunder products installed on your site. If any critical updates are found, the Supervisor will prompt for an upgrade.
